The Federation of Polish and Polish-Danish Associations in
Denmark "Polonia" was established in 1999 and has member organisations in whole
Denmark; e.g. in the cities of Aalborg, Arhus, Odense, Copenhagen, Maribo,
Nykobing Falster and Nastved.
The Federation works on democracy and human rights foundations and is
independent of political parties. The Federation respects member associations'
independent activities and sovereignty in accordance with their articles.
The objects of the Federation are:

To start, promote, develop and co-ordinate the co-operation
between all Polish and Polish-Danish associations in Denmark, with the
greatest importance attached to cross country co-operation.

To widespread and defence the knowledge to Polish culture,
language, traditions and historical values. To widespread knowledge of Poland
in the Danish society.

To extend the member organisation's contact to authorities
and organisations in and outside Denmark.

To protect good reputation of Poland and Poles.

To act on Poles integration in Denmark.

To extend the cultural and economical co-operation between
Poland and Denmark.

If possible to co-finance the member organisation's
activities and projects, which are in accordance with the objects of the
Federation
